A Quiet Place

During a writing retreat of several weeks in a traditional Japanese Inn close to the country’s ancient capital, Kyoto, Richard composed the music for Silk - surrounded by bamboo forests, mist covered mountains, sacred shrines and ancient temples.

Silk  is a serene, touching and emotionally moving journey, somewhat reflecting the Japanese “Zen” philosophies of simplicity, beauty and space, in over one hour of tranquil music for solo piano.             CD $20

     It has even helped send our little one to sleep - perfect lullaby music. She has been difficult to get to sleep over the past couple of months, but your Silk CD has done the trick. Your music is perfect to facilitate either deep relaxation or deep concentration. The wonderful sound is always there....yet it is not there

T have a copy of your CD entitled 'Hidden Dancers'... we find it very relaxing while preparing for the evening - it is part of our 'calm down time' before bed!

I have 2 small children and we listen to music while dinner is being prepared, during the meal by candlelight and getting ready for bed - right up to story time and then sometimes after while Mummy is cleaning the kitchen and making lunches etc for the next day!
